Dental Newsflash

Chapped lips are a dehydration problem.  When you lick them, you momentarily apply moisture, which then evaporates and leaves your lips feeling drier than before. Besides, saliva contains digestive enzymes that don't do your sore lips any good.  Licking chapped lips can lead to something called lip-licker's dermatitis.

The Services Behind A Beautiful Smile ...
Our practice is unique because our mission is different. We are passionate about offering the finest personal attention and dental care to our guests. We spend time with each guest in order to understand the causes of their oral health concerns and solutions they could explore. It might be unusual for a patient to spend a large amount of time discussing and evaluating symptoms with a dentist, but this is the standard practice at our office.

Examination Process ...
Even before your initial visit we will evaluate information from you, concerning your medical and dental history. In this way we can better be prepared to serve you. We have found that excellence in dentistry begins with a careful diagnosis and treatment plan, to move us toward the goals we will establish together. We will perform a comprehensive examination of the teeth, gums, bite, jaw joint and soft tissues. When needed, and with your permission, we will utilize all appropriate x-rays. We will use intra-oral photographs and study models of your teeth and jaw to identify areas of concern. We believe this in-depth examination to be the cornerstone of quality dentistry.

Prevention ...
We have centered our practice around prevention and health as opposed to one that simply emphasizes emergency and repair care. The supporting gum tissue and bone are just as vital as the teeth themselves. The best way to protect and maintain the crucial supporting structures, is to have regular professional oral hygiene appointments, and excellent daily home care. We will design an ongoing program of care with you, so you may continue in excellent oral health.

Complex Restorative Care ...
Patients suffer many dental problems because of inadequately planned treatment. Restorative dentistry is the branch of dentistry that takes into consideration your needs, wants, desires and values. It designs the one, best treatment plan that will fulfill your needs and goals. Because of his extensive effort in continuing education and advanced training, Dr. Logan is able to thoroughly diagnose and treatment plan your care. In some instances he works closely with a team of specialist to comprehensively restore your mouth to ideal function, comfort and esthetics. ( View All Image Galleries )

Implantology ...
Dental implants allow us to solidly and permanently replace missing teeth in patients who previously had to settle for a looser fitting, removable type of tooth replacement like dentures. We work closely with a specialist who places the implants. Dr. Logan then completes your treatment with the appropriate restorative dentistry.

Emergency ...
We recognize that emergencies do occur. Our office phone number is answered 24 hours a day. We provide special priority status for you or any family member who has been seen during the previous year in our practice.

Questions ...
Our team members are well trained and dedicated to make a difference for each and every person we are privileged to serve. No question is too small or insignificant for us to answer. Please give us feedback as your opinions and ideas are very important to us.
