| Recurrent herpes labialis, also known as a “cold sore” or “fever blister” are never fun for anyone. They are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV1) and usually occur outside the mouth on the lips, chin, cheeks or nostrils. They can also occur less frequently intraorally on non-movable tissues such the hard palate and attached gingivae (gums that are attached to and cover bony structures). Approximately 80% of the population experience outbreaks of the virus. |

 Andrea - Treatment CoordinatorAndrea has over 13 years of experience in the dental field. She is highly skilled not only in administration of the office, but as a clinical assistant as well. She has been married for 18 years to Steve and has been blessed with 3 girls, the oldest is 16 and 13 year old twins. Andrea is originally from Camden, Tennessee but has lived in Huntsville for over 20 years. When away from the office, Steve and Andrea are busy with the children who are involved in golf and softball. The also enjoy doing anything involving the outdoors.  Phyllis - Administrative Coordinator Phyllis has been with Dr. Logan for two years. She was born and raised in Huntsville and has been married to Huey for thirty years. They have two daughters, Courtney and Whitney and a son-in-law John. When away from the office she stays busy helping out with her mom's 200 acre cattle ranch. She enjoys working in her yard, going to Canton and spending time with family and friends.  Tracey - Clinical Assistant Tracey has over ten years of experience in dentistry and joined Dr. Logan's team this year. She was raised in Madisonville and has lived in Huntsville for the past fifteen years. She has four children, two in college and two in high school. When she's not at the office, her time is busy car pooling and gardening.  April - Clinical Assistant April is Dr. Logan's chairside assistant. She has been with Dr. Logan for six years and has a total of eight years experience in the dental field. She is currently working to become a certified dental assistant as one of her long term goals. Because she enjoys the ministry of helping people and thrives on the ever-changing aspects of dentistry, she plans to stay in the dental field in some form. April enjoys reading and cooking in her spare time. She currently serves with the Huntsville Firefighter's Auxillary.  Haley - Lab / Sterilization Assistant Haley was born and raised in Huntsville. She graduated from Huntsville High in 2008 and joined Dr. Logan's team a year ago. She works part time here at the office and part time as a cashier at El Chico. During her spare time, when she has it, she simply enjoys relaxing and hanging out with friends and family.  Laura - Dental Hygienist Laura has over twenty years experience as a dental hygienist and has worked with Dr. Logan since 1998. She graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont with her degree in dental hygiene. Laura enjoys being with her family. She has six nieces and nephews along with her dog Annabella, a long-haired Chihuahua. She also plays the trumpet and is a member of the handbell choir at her church.  Karen - Dental HygienistKaren comes from a family of dentists and has been involved with dentistry most of her life. She has been with Dr. Logan for two years and graduated from Texas A&M in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007 from Blinn College. She and her husband Jonathan live in Huntsville with their two precious daughters McKenna and Molly.
